Certificates, Security and Identification

One modern problem with email, with web servers and many other areas is how do you prove that you are really you and maintain secure, possibly encrypted, communications.

Thawte offer free email certificates - and you can get your name included in the certificate if you can get 50 notarization points. Alex and Megan can offer 70 points between them - so you can "one stop shop" if you want to get one of these certificates notarized.

CACert offer a wide range of certificates, although they are not automatically recognized by Microsoft software - this is due to the large fees Microsoft charge. It is straightforward to load their root certificate (the one that allows them recognition to sign other certificates) into Microsoft software. Again Alex and Megan can assure your identity.
